Great place! My kids love it. Also has a skate park.. Always lots of sports activities

Great place to watch little league baseball fireworks or just relax.

This park use 2 be awesome it’s nothing like it used to be when I was growing up

Weird layout at this park, some even weirder ramp construction. Stainless coping, crumbling ramps, broken lights, shards of glass all over the park... At least it's a place to ride.

They have cut down most of the trees in the park, outside the woods near Franklin Road, and turned them into huge mounds of wood chips by the woods. There is a HUGE hill in the middle of the park for sliding down. There are soccer and baseball fields, except you aren't allowed to use them! And a building you could rent. It is a lot of open space, not trees. They have fireworks on the 4th of July, with a carnival, except the police throw you out literally five minutes after the end, with threats. Lawrence is old and was where Fort Benjamin Harrison used to be. It was as shabby as any other military base that had thousands of draftees going through it. A lot of that base was turned into a State Park, but the Finance Center, at 56th and Post Road, and visible from the park, employed the military "bean counters" and was named after someone with the last name Bean!
